We spent our Saturday hiking through the Kranji "battle site" into the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The 3.5 year old had anticipated that it would be a long walk and she insisted on bringing along her pram (which came in handy as she rested on it while her parents struggle to push the pram along the rocky terrain).
We were hoping to spot birds but we were greeting by lots of mozzies and were given a couple of love bites instead. Actually, the birds were frightened away by the loud noises we produce from pushing the pram. Despite the afternoon heat, we were sheltered by greens and enjoyed our walk. Along the way, we were given welcome by the residents of the jungle & mangrove swamps (such as kingfisher, pigeons, eagles, storks, water hens, clovers, monitor lizards, squirrels, crabs, mudskippers, etc).
I felt much better on Saturday as I didn't suffer from inflammation and I survived the day without my painkillers.

Fear kinda strike me when I realised that I didn't have the strength to hold my cup, and my lunch tray. My hands were trembling when I was holding heavier utensils. For the entire day, my joints were burning and there were red spots on the areas where my joints hurt.
