28 Oct 07, SunWe decided to spend our Sunday afternoon hiking into Bukit Timah nature reserve. The little one wanted to visit Bambi in the jungle. We hiked for 4-5km, taking around 1.5hrs. Along the way, we enjoyed the greens, looking out for animals (we spotted squrriels, monkeys and different types of lizards and birds). But sorry, no Bambi though. It was extremely cloudy weather and as we were hiking towards the golf course, we heard the storm alert.
Fortunately, we managed to walk out towards Thomson Plaza without meeting the storm. The storm arrived only after we had a drink, nice chicken pies and when we got into the taxi. If only we're so lucky when we purchase lottery or TOTO...
